Together this past year, we have faced a truly unprecedented situation. The global coronavirus pandemic has affected all of our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life.
First and foremost, my heart goes out to anyone who's been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. My thoughts are especially with those who got sick and passed, to whose families I extend my heartfelt condolences and prayers for peace. And I’m truly inspired by the selfless healthcare workers around the world who have worked on the front lines working tirelessly to care for people in need.
In the past year, many people have had to use all their resources to provide for their families and secure a future. Many have had a harder time than most. And some had to make some very difficult changes in their careers to be able to survive.
It is with great sadness that I will be closing Pura Vida. Because of the current world events with this pandemic and how it has affected my business, I need to redirect my career plans. My last day for service will be July 23,2021.
With sincere gratitude, I offer a special thank you to every single one of you. You helped shape me and my business over the last 15 years and have provided me with a happy life. I could not have built this business without you and your incredible loyalty. I sincerely hope that my former staff and myself have given you a piece of wellness and a love you all deserve.
I will be redirecting my focus in tandem with my husband on our business in Tampa, The SpookEasy Lounge. It’s a Halloween Themed Speakeasy Coffee Shop in Ybor that is thriving and expanding. We are a non alcoholic lounge, specializing in herbal teas, coffee, kava and kratom. This business has become a huge passion for me and will require my full time attention. I am thrilled that this business is busting at the seams with patrons and we are very excited for the future.
